Thelma Gilliam shares stories about her life, her husband, and family. Her husband George was an educator in Wilson County, and Thelma was in the banking business. Her story tells of the times she faced discrimination in being hired by banks in other towns, how she worked to reduce this discrimination, and the success she found in Lebanon, TN, where she was hired and worked for 15 years.
